Anna D’Addona.
Accredited Family Law Specialist, Mediator, FDRP & Parenting Coordinator

Anna has worked in the family law space since 2005, initially as a Deputy Associate to a then Federal Magistrate. She was admitted as a legal practitioner in 2008 and became an Accredited Specialist in Family Law through the Law Society of NSW in 2018. She is an accredited mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and Parenting Coordinator.
From 2008 to 2020, Anna worked across various private boutique and larger reputable law firms as well as Legal Aid, NSW, specialising in Family Law throughout Sydney, Parramatta, the Hawkesbury and Nepean regions. Anna also acted in the role of Independent Children’s Lawyer whilst in private practice and at Legal Aid.
From 2020 until 2025 Anna was a Judicial Registrar working across National Registries of the Federal Circuit & Family Court of Australia whilst being based in the Parramatta Registry. During this time, she conducted many Case Assessment Conferences, Conciliation Conferences and Dispute Resolution Conferences including in high conflict matters and high-risk cases in the Evatt and Magellan list. Anna also undertook significant court work dealing with first return matters, directions, mentions and management of the Parramatta and Wollongong Magellan lists. Anna also dealt with contested matters within her delegated powers. She has considerable training in domestic and family violence and trauma informed practice.
In early 2025, Anna was appointed as a Senior Member (Legal) in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, presiding over, deciding and delivering reasons in the protective jurisdiction of Guardianship. Anna is also a Casual Academic and Unit Co-ordinator in Advanced Family Law at Western Sydney University and undertakes sessional work as Senior Member (Legal) in the Guardianship Division of the NSW Civil Administrative Tribunal.
Anna has always been passionate about helping parties navigate the breakdown of a relationship or family dispute, often marking one of the most significant and emotional periods of their life. Anna prides herself on assisting people in coming to a mutually acceptable outcome where they feel heard and are involved in the process. Combined with her court and Tribunal experience, Anna has had exposure to a multitude of issues and conflicts affecting families including complex financial and parenting cases.
